Anyone in Wisconsin?!
Just a shout out to see who on here is in Wisconsin or Western Wisconsin specifically. I just got my TL a few months ago and love it. It would be sick to meet up or talk because I am in the market for a new exhaust and I would like to hear some xlr8's, Atlp's, Rv6's, etc in person or just hear about what's going on around here in the Acura world. Thanks!

Whats up TLdub!
Ive got a 2G SSM CL-S. Its the AT5 but Ive got the oddy swap. Im pretty stock right now but there are plans for the near future pending the sale of my boat. Im not quite to exhaust yet but pulleys, Stoptech brakes, and a suspension are in my sights.
Where in Wisco are you at? Im right outside of Madison.

Got it from Zimbrick Audi I know the Zimbrick family personally and ive had the same car for 7 years so Zimbrick is the only place i'll buy from now cause they are FANTASTIC. Bought it out from under someone else and they held it for a week for me. Thank you! I am loving it, havent had a 4 cyl. in my family so this is the first but it is great.

Oh and I live by La Crosse. I just finished my 105k service last weekend. Timing belt, water pump, idler pulley, tensioner pulley, thermostat and I put in a lightweight UR crank pulley while I was at it. It was a very involving job that took extensive time. Even with the DIY there is plenty of room for mistakes. If anyone needs any advice of what not to do, I can help ya out . The lightweight pulley is the first upgrade I've really done to the engine so far because everything else was replacement or maintenance. The butt dyno tells me it's got a little more pep for sure. I just bought a AEM V1 from the black market and I've been waiting for it to be shipped. I am in the process of buying TL-S tail lights, and an ATLP quad exhaust (preferably used) to start. The exhaust is so quite on the base TL so I can't wait to get a nice solid note from the ATLP.
Congrats on getting the TSX! Sounds like fun. It's nice to hear about Acura dealers because there are none where I live
Too bad your sale didn't go through, the weather is just getting nice up here so you should have plenty of time to sell it.

Hey how's it going, there are a few of us on here from the Milwaukee area. You should come down to the National meet this year, we get a few Wi people and roll down and meet some of the Illinois AZ members and have a big cruise down there. The shits a blast every year.

BigHaus, yeah I have already experienced this! I wanted to get a few things from the parts department (I'm already kind of a fan boy) and they were outrageously helpful. Zimbrick def. is the place to go my family are good friends with the Zimbricks so its always nice to keep things neighborly but they are just downright great.

Hey Western Wisconsin peeps...thinking about putting together a meet on Sunday, May 20th in Maple Grove, MN. Maybe meeting at Dave & Busters, and then having some lunch.
Any of you guys up for it??

Are you looking at AT or MT? MT had issues with synchros, otherwise, the cars are very solid. Just make sure it's had services done periodically and was well taken care of, they're very good cars

I'm a Wisconsinite but live in TX...
ATLP is nice. I had a TL-S quad version (non-res) a few years ago. It was too loud so I added a hushpower high-flow muffler where the OEM resonator was. It sounded really nice, but I found a local deal on a full OEM TL-S exhaust. Sold the ATLP since I change my mind and wanted a more low-key exhaust. The TL-S still sounds nice to me though.

man i never go to the Milwaukee auto show for that very reason. Given how close Chicago is, I just usually go there every year.
Milwaukee auto show is less about enthusiasts and higher end cars than Chicago, for obvious reasons.
