Im in castleton/fishers or NE side of Indy... Ive seen only a couple of 3G TL's around and one aspec version lowered with rims and exhaust and of course michael benz old tl not sure if either of them are members.

I came from the pontiac grand prix family and there are tons of local members... now i feel all alone haha

Indy westside (Traders Point area) here. I've been to two Chicago meets with my Legend and mostly prowl acuralegend.org site, but occasionally here. Getting an Indy meet for Acura's of all flavors would be nice.

I've only had mine for a couple weeks, no way am I bringing my bone stock TL to hang out with the big boys. Plus seeing all those mods in person would be like an automatic drain on my bank account I'm sure.

Well plus, Wisconsin and Chicago are kind of far. Thanks for the invite though. Maybe we could get a few of the Indy guys together for something smaller than a "meet". We could just get together for lunch on a weekend sometime or something.

...so...any Indy people around this weekend? I just picked up another Acura recently that is amazing. It is a 1994 Acura Legend Coupe, 6-speed, white, tan leather....and the best part....19,952 original miles. It is like being in a time warp.

 

less than 20,000 miles.. .that is freaking awesome... how'd you find it?

 

Im up in the Carmel/Westfield area.

 

Kind of stumbled across it really. It is almost spooky. Like a time capsule car. The car still smells just like a new Legend did. I am amazed by the car.

Funny thing is I went to the dealership this weekend, and when I parked out front a bunch of the salesmen came out to look at it, and when they asked me the mileage I said, 'About 20,000 miles,' and one of the guys said, 'Oh..you mean 120,000 miles'.

I politely said, 'No. 20,000 miles. Take a peek at the odometer'. They were shocked.

One of them soon said, 'You could park this is the showroom right now and people would think it is a new model,' to which I had to proudly agree.

 

Mitch, I'd love to see your coupe! Where specifically are you located? What dealership ... Ed Martin? There is an effort underway to host the annual National Acura Legend Meet (NALM) 2010 here in Indianapolis next spring/summer. Your coupe would be a headliner. We're trying to get Ed Martin to host an event during that weekend. In any event, I'd love to get together to photoshoot our Legends sometime. Today is out as I'm tied up for the afternoon. Maybe next weekend.

I am around Fishers, and will be around this weekend if you want to meet up. Saturday afternoon is kind of busy, so just let me know days and times you have available and we will figure it out. As long as it is dry out, I will be happy to bring out the coupe.

One of the guys at Ed Martin said something about there being some sort of Legend meet there in December. Is that related to your people at all?

 

I would love to attend the Legend meet, but I am most likely selling my 20k mile Legend Coupe and another car to go after one of my other dream cars. I have driven this car twice....yep...twice. So it is minty clean and ready for a new owner if someone here is seriously interested. Otherwise I will probably toss it on Ebay or I have an offer from someone to consign the car for me. It has been stored most of its life, and is currently stored now. Let me know!

What kind of details do you guys have about the NALM? I thought one of the Ed Martin Acura guys told me it was happening in December at their dealership?

 

I'm in Indy, on the southeast side...with my 08 TL, but looking for another Acura before summer.

I have my TL in Bloomington but am around Indy occasionally. There are a few modded TLs in Btown but none with Indiana plates. Im from NJ but I see a Cali TL slammed all the time around campus.....I think we need to have an Indy meet sometime before May of 2010....any takers?
