Has Planning for the annual Acurazine Meet started yet? Just curious on dates.

 

Good question, I vote for something different than the beginning of June. And still KC right? I actually want to tow the car down for one of these someday.

 

It is basically the same every year. I like the date and would not want it changed.

Would love to see your car vill069. I drive down every year (8-9 hours) in my stripped out car in a bucket seat. Good times.

 

Planning has not started yet.


Date is the weekend before Father's Day in Kansas City at Jay Wolfe Acura.

 

I drive from MN every year and like Brian said it is all about fun and friend ships you make. every time is more fun. Looking forward to seeing everyone again. Hopefully I can get more peeps from the TC this year

 

Count me in. I will even help if any is needed I have family in KC and my aunt has purchased all of her cars at Jay Wolfe.

I'll be there. But bringing a car for the "guest" (non-acura) class. Hopefully will at least be started tearing down the CL by then.

 

The reason I ask is that another NSX owner and my self might make it down from Omaha. What goes on during the other two days. I know of the car show at Wolfe Acura.

 

Friday usually eat at Oklahoma Joe's. Saturday meet at hotel and go get lunch, then go karts. Meet by dealer, then Go to dinner. Sunday is meet.

 

Glad I checked in to see about this so I can start planning my trip. The time of the month has changed though, because this event used to be the first weekend in June.

Dude with the NSX told me I needed a new set of wheels. I complied accordingly lol.

 

Hey GUYS ....needing to finalize this years ACURAZINE MEET...there are 2 options;


first weekend in JUNE, Sunday the 7th (the KC Royal are in town Thurs-Sat and Sporting KC is playing in town on Sat if people wanted to go) or the following Sunday the 14th, (neither team is in town).



Do you have any feelings/comments over what date might be better?

 

The weekend of the 14th I have blocked of for the meet already. It is always been the weekend before Father's day weekend that's why I have taken vacation time all ready. That's were I stand

 

Either should work for me.

 

I would prefer the 7th since I'd already be on the road but I can work with either one.

 

I hope to have my RV6 Exhaust before this meet happens

 

prefer the 14th, but can probably make either weekend work.

 

Either date works, just need to know so I can start planning.

 

Chicago Acura crew working on making a big cruise this year since we missed last year! hoping we can make it the 7th! keep us updated

 

Guys, as of now, we are planning on keeping our original date, which is the 2nd weekend of the month, which is June 13th and 14th.

 

Sounds like a good plan. Weekend of June 12 to 14th... Would be ideal. I'll check my work schedule tomorrow night.

We are moving forward with the June 14th weekend.


I secured the rooms at the host hotel today. Same hotel as always.

However yesterday was a sad day, my son's 96 Integra 5 speed manual is done, the car did it's job and my son walked away.....fyi there are only 27 manual transmission Integra's on cars.com across the USA

We are planning the meet Fri. night, details and sign in should be up by the end of the weekend. Sorry for the later than usual notice, its been a long winter and we were all in hibernation. We will prob stick to sort of the same formula as we have the last couple years, because it just works. We are open to suggestions, just let us know soon.

anyone up for a golf outing Friday afternoon?

 

I've never swung a golf club so it would be kind of embarrassing. I do play frisbee golf though.

What day are you driving there, Thursday?

Not sure if I would leave Thursday or very early on Friday.

 

Probably leave Wichita Friday AM, after I check in at work. Hope to be there by 2:00 or so (Unless there's golf. Then would try to be there earlier)

I already blocked off these dates and will have the car painted by then. Ill be driving down.
