Well , The other day me and my friend were talking about starting a car meet around the Woodbridge area . Only one around the area that we know of is the one in front of Dicks , Right off of Minniville , Next to the mall .
We've been there a couple times , Pretty decent spot . But we didn't like how the traffic was when everyone pulls out to leave and turns on Miniville. Pain in the ass honestly .
So we were thinking about Starting a Car meet At the Ikea , right across the street from the mall . We could use the Ikea Garage , and there's a Ramp for 95 right behind it . We were planning on talking to the manager confirming this idea .But if they don't accept it , then we could use the parking lot in front of Costcos . (Across the street from Ikea)

So just throwing this out on the AZ forums tryna how many of the Acura Family could head out there , And as for my friend he's posting up on supra/toyota forums . So let me know if you guys would be intrested .

i think you mean the Dicks off of Prince William Parkway, not Minnieville. And just to let you know, the on ramp for 95 behind Ikea is for Northbound entrance only. Cant get on 95 south from that area. Have to go up to Prince William Parkway or down to Dale Blvd.

Anyways, I live in Woodbridge (Lakeridge) and will keep an eye on this. I'd be interested depending on when it is. I travel a lot with my job so might not be around.

I just picked up my TL (non S) about a month ago and wouldn't mind taking a look at some other TL's so I can try to get a better understanding on how to do some of these mods. I've been using the "search" feature like crazy and reading up, but I just get more and more confused reading everything.

 

Yeah shit i don't know why i was thinking Minniville for . But, Yeah your right Off the parkway Next to the Chuckie cheese , I was rushing through this . And Yeah your right about the northbound entrance .

Well , I'm just looking for a nice spot , Like maybe The Micheals Parking lot , the one right next to Chipotle . And it's Right next to 95 aswell .

Yeah i just got my TL , i've been using the search bar like no other aswell .I've been confused but slowly understanding all this . My first mod is me taking out my mid-muffler and insert a straight pipe . Give it that better sound.

i have an 07 WDP with no mods except for tint (which the dealer at first told me was legal, but then tried to tell me they had to rip it off right before they gave me the temp tags).

I dont plan (i say that now) on doing to many performance mods to the car. I've gone that route before with previous vehicles and im on a pretty tight budget right now with just having a kid. I probably should not of even picked up the TL, but I got tired of looking and wanting one.

I only want to do little things, cosmetic wise, as modifications. I picked up the window up module thing, but have yet to install it. I want to get one of the ipod modules for my ipod and iphone. Change the sidemarker lights to the darker ones (type s). The biggest thing I want to do, which is what im soo confused about is the whole fog light / daytime driving light situation. I HATE how I cant turn off the DRL's. I go through a few checkpoints at night and they want all lights off except parking lights when you roll through. They think im crazy when I tell them I cant turn them off. I also hate how I cant turn the fog lights on when I want, and only with headlights. Its been argued on here for pro's and con's but I cant believe a car of this level has such little issues like this. This is my first foreign car too though. All my chevy's have the ability to turn off the drl's and turn on the fog's whenever I want.

also want to get the headlight's done as well. been reading the headlight post on here. the dealer I bought the car from told me his buddy at some body/performance shop on RT 1 does the headlight mod, but I'm not sure of the quality. Ive seen and read the quality of the guy who does them on here.

 

Count me I got some friends that could come out from RSX type S, TL type S, and my self let me know on the date

It all depends of how much money you got, or if you want to do one thing at a time little by little. If you see my car it all has been little by little.
Look for a guy named j1n he is in my friend list, he did most of all his mod in less than a few months but it was little pricey

 

Yeah i'm definitely gonna take it little by little .

Hello there I have a problem with my headlights one of my ballast is not working properly I just order a new HID kit I hope to get by friday. Will keep posted but If I can come out I will bring the wifes car

 

How much did you pay for the Ballast's ?
I saw on a site for them running for $99.99 .

The weather for friday isn't looking so well , Scattered showers . Hoping it wont be as bad around 7 . So due to the weather there's a possibility that the meet might be postponed .
