Hey everyone. I'm putting together a meet in Virginia Beach on Saturday, August 20th.

It will be open for suggestion as to what we'll do but as of right now I'm thinking of starting at around 6pm. Meet up for coffee at Starbucks on Independence, south of the 264 junction and then a cruise down the boulevard by the beach and up shoreline drive back on up to Independence Blvd and then over to downtown Norfolk for dinner at The Big Easy on Tazewell. Food is amazing and the dress code is pretty much whatever the hell you are wearing.

But that's just something I thought of off the top of my head. We could even start earlier if it would be better for those that are coming in from areas a little farther out. And please, let's get some 2nd Gen TSX owners to step up and represent! Final plans will be posted two weeks prior.

Thanks for showing interest everyone. As I've said, will most likely be moving the start time a little earlier. Dinner is not necessary. Hell, we can go back to Chick-Fil-A after the cruise on Virginia Beach Blvd by Independence where it'll be easier for others to meet up at a later time. Honestly, as I write that it almost sounds like a better idea. But I'm still open to suggestions.

So keep the date in mind and try to spread the word. I'd like to get as many as possible. Still have about five weeks. Hope to see ya'll there.

Okay... the day is fast approaching. Will start Saturday the 20th at 5pm at the Starbucks on Independence, south of the I-264 junction. Leave around 6pm to cruise around the beach and up Shoreline Drive. Head back up the boulevard to the Chick-Fil-A about 1/2 mile East of the Independence/VB Blvd intersection for food and hanging out. Bring your friends.


Directions:

(Take I-64 to I-264 East to Virginia Beach. Take the first Independence exit (towards Princess Anne) which will take you heading South. Immediately get all the way over in the left lane. Careful of traffic here. It sucks. You will see a Golden Corral and then a Starbucks right after. There is a turn lane directly in front of Starbucks. If a lot of people rsvp to this then we can park in the Golden Corral parking lot 20 feet from the Starbucks.

We will only do this if at least five others rsvp and show up. But if the list doesn't make the quota but you still want to hang out and cruise around, pm me. I'm more than happy to do so. It just won't be coordinated and we can do that whenever we want.

And yeah I knew about the meet today but had to work. Sucks. Hopefully Saturday will be worth it. I live at that starbucks anyway so even if no one shows I'll still have my iced white mocha to comfort me while I drown in my own tears of sorrow.

 

Always need a hand. I plan on going to the hobby shop on Oceana Naval Base on Saturday morning. It will be a straight replacement, so shouldn't take long. I will be there if no issues arise. Hopefully the weather will hold up better than yesterday...

 

Want me to help since I have them installed? I got a cordless impact =D and do live down the street from ya.
