Most of the shops in VA that I knew of are no longer in business. What are the current tuner shops in the VA/MD/DC area - specifically Northern VA. I'm looking to get some springs installed on my TL.

What is CDE motorsports called now? They use to be located in fairfax but I think they moved to sterling..

Also inline pro is trying yp charge me $500 to install my springs. No thanks.

Tell him that Melvin with Black TL send you and he will take care of you. Tons of people in Azine had work done by him.

I followed your recommendation to them for my header install and got the best price but also got the greatest degree of confidence in service and knowledge from talking to Pirouz. I knew it would have been foolish for me to do it myself and I was right. Brian had to cut off several of those corroded bolts from the stock manifold and OEM cat, definately not possible with my tools. The time, patience and care really impressed me! They have done work on some pretty nasty turbos there and know their stuff. I'll find more work for that shop.
And note, If you're doing header work replace the OEM cat with a new high flow. Those bolts connecting each end are the worst, rusted pieces of metal to remove.
It's sad all my tuner shops from my past are just dead and gone.

 

I know it isn't northern VA but Atlantic Motorsports on Virginia Beach Blvd is an option. They can do pretty much any damn thing you want. Prices aren't exactly modest but you do get what you pay for. They're doing my intake runners, downpipe, brakes - front and rear, stainless brake lines, throttle body spacer and CT-E Icebox for $788.

Might be worth the drive to check out.

Mach V in Sterling has an excellent reputation. They do a lot of Evo, Subie, BMW, Mini, work but they will work on anything.
