Towson Tuning's Meet 9/25/10 Update Post# 11
(posting for someone else, I don't have anything to do with the planning of this event)
Hey guys we're having our first meet of the "season". From 12pm-5pm we're hosting a get-together at Bill Bateman's in Towson on Sunday, August 15th, 2010. Anyone is welcome and it's a free event. Our spring meet went well and we're hoping for another great turnout.

If AZ plans on coming out I'd be willing to make the trip down from Reading, PA. Never been to a meet and been waiting for one that isn't 4+ hours away. Let's get a list going to see who's interested...it may be small but if AZ comes out we could easily take it over.

My car looks like crap right now, I was forced to take my tints off from a ticket I got back in July. Hopefully I can get it re tinted by then, but if not ill still come. Lol
BTW we should change the title of the thread, that way people won't think this meet already happened.

my f-in tranny jus blew, or so they tell me. car is running in limp mode. took it to 2 mechanics and they both said it had to be replaced... im gunna use glen burnie transmissions, they offer a 4yr/100kmi warranty on a "new" one. fml. sorry fellas. i was really looking forward to this as I havent been to a meet since the spring. if i can find a ride ill show up. at the rate im goin tho, soon I'll have a brand new 00 TL with all the parts iv had to replace..

Have you thought about getting a 3g tl,Honda oddessy,or a Honda accord transmission? There's a guy in Virginia who can do the swap, and he's also a member here. He did my transmission swap on my 01 cl type-s. Very knowledgeable person.

GB transmissions does good work from what I've heard. They are right across the street from my mother in law's house and a light down from the Honda I bought my Accord from.
As for Paul aka NVA-AV6 he does great work. He could prrobably find you a tranmsission and install it for cheaper.

Shit! I had a basement flood yesterday and threw my back out---just had it operated on in April to repair a herniated disc. I go to the surgeon again this afternoon to see how bad it is.
Bottom line---I dont think I can make it Saturday. I'm hoping I can make the Ravens game Sunday, but don't want to push it.
