Rain or not we having guys coming to the meet. There is a shelter where we are meeting at too.

and the forecast worsens...we're getting rain on sunday, but Sandy will be smacking right into the DC area come monday into tuesday. be safe out there!!! and park all your babies in places away from trees.

 

the RL will be safe in the garage.

 

This is really unfortunate. Im not even sure if im going to come out. What do you guys say about reshecduling and hopefully trying to get this meet bigger for next time.

Im cool with rescheduling, but as I said over at 6G Accord, Nov 3rd and 10th is out for me.

If the meet is a go for tomorrow, I think Im staying home. Id rather be out driving with the amount of rain we're supposed to get.

 

yea we still have some people going. But im a no go weather is turning worse and worse. Im suppose to get some flooding in the area. I say we start planning for a new day like some time around dec or jan.

Apparently not. Was enjoying the weather today and have not had a chance to look.

 

they've only been talking about this "perfect storm" thing since....early last week.

today was the calm before the storm.

Was trying to be optimistic.

 

Maybe the first or second week of December? I figure any earlier and it cuts into Thanksgiving, any later and its Christmas. I have no idea when the Great Falls meet is going to happen, but its typically in January too.

 

i think we all are, but as this thing gets closer...i'm dreading it. we're the one house on the street with ZERO trees in our yard. my neighbors at all sides of us all have big ass mature trees. we've already had two of our cars get hit with 12 foot tree limbs this year. from the SAME evil tree. plus...i really need to go to work too. i'm tired of being part of "epic" and "historic" storms.

I agree. Glenn just got to my house and we were talking for a bit. The winds started to pick up while we were outside...sucks.

 

Right now its not raining near me, and it hasnt rained for a while. But theres maybe 30mph gusts. Im more worried about tonight/tomorrow though and Im just waiting for us to inevitably lose power....again
