Service and Maintenance MD/DC/VA

Just picked up my new 2011 MDX two days ago and was wondering where thos in the MD/DC/VA area go to have their cars serviced. I can get to Rpsenthal, Pohanka, and Radley without too much difficulty. Of the three is one known for better doing better work? Or is there one I should avoid?

Also if not any of the dealerships do people have any indy shops that they recommend for servicing Acuras and MDXs? Thanks in advance guys!

Ok...who and where are you? I'm near Silver Spring.
And how long ago was the guy at Rosenthal the service manager at Tischer's?
I remember someone about 2006-2007 from Tischer who was really helpful to ACURAZINE members, forgot his name.

Thanks for replying to my post Scott. Lanham is bit far from me but Gaithersburg I can do. Thanks for the recommendation.

You can get an Acura serviced at Honda, but any work/replacement done under warranty has to be carried out by the specific Brand. Honda to Honda Acura to Acura.

Good to see we have some good options. I need an alignment on my CL pretty badly (amongst other things). So besides the regular stuff, I'm hoping someone is "lowered CL" friendly in that regards. I don't mind a good drive if the service is great, they know what they're doing and they take care of the car. I drove all the way out to Tischer once only to have them scuff my front bumper. Isolated incident...hopefully, but they did take care of it (after I pointed the crap out HAHAHA).

I had great success with Murray's Auto Clinic in Silver Spring. My car is spring lowered not coil over lowered but no problems!

What kind of experiences have you had with UCS? I see they specialize in Mitsubishi.

Bump!

I am in need of maintenance work on my 05 TL.
I got the right front CV boot replaced from an independent mechanic in July and regret it now. Grease is leaking out of the boot and spraying around it, even inside my rim.

Want to get it done correctly now. Radley is the closest dealer in my area. CV boot is new but I'm not sure if it needs to be replaced again or just cleaned and clamps tightened.

Anyone suggest reliable mechanics in the Arlington, VA area that can do it during the weekend?

Thanks in advance.

just get the axle replaced. its cheaper and a lot less laborsome than repacking a CV joint/boot. if you want an indy dealer, i hear the japanese auto clinic is good (the reviews were very positive). i never used them since i go to my dealer (not radley) for most of my work. otherwise, go to radley (its closer to arlington) and you can also get a loaner (if available/needed) while your car gets worked on.

What about paint/bodywork? I know it isn't Service but it's A service. I don't have any major bodywork but need some issues fixed.

dont' know of any in MD. only VA-D&V in sterling (high end and a little pricey), pohanka collision in chantilly (tell them EXACTLY what your expectations are-ie you are really anal about the car, and they will comply). iknow there are a couple of threads specifically for paint and body work in the regions section.
