I went last year and it was pretty good. Burnout contest, drifting competition, motorcycle stunt contest, drag racing, hydrolic contest, etc... Check out the link. Hotels get really packed so planning ahead would be a good idea! I tagged along with NELOC (Lexus club) last year and I had fun!!!

 

i was just at work thinking something crazy......what if we challenge some to a relay race. 2 would start off at one end of a street and the other two cars would be waiting on the other side of the street at the far end

i dont know something like that. that light by the mcdonalds on 214 would be good cuz some can top out before they get to that light at largo. so if the person whos winning tops out at 130 and the one behind them is catching them cuz they top out at 175.....that shit should be fun. or somewhere down bottom where everyone can see the race. as long as we have 2 lanes on each side of the road.....lol

The Z's are so much faster than when it first came out even though it still has the 3.5 and it is still faster than even the new 3.7 G37...What did they do to the newer year Z's to make them so much faster...cause someone please tell me.

Saw the vid. It didnt say what tires the person was running. He could have been running slicks. As far as the new z's being faster, to my understanding the way horsepower is measured changed around 04-05. Having the same power now on paper as before would constituit it as having more now at the wheels. Considering that the power stays constant you may also look at smaller factors such as suspension, gearing, tires and the camshafts for reasons to why it might be faster. All of this ofcourse is considering that the driver is not a variable in the hypothesis. Thats my 2cents knowing nothing abour either car.

 

I hear what you are saying...However the guy said that his car was...STOCK...when i think stock I assume that means off the floorincluding tires ; besides the pictures on the forum (of the car) show the car completely stock including the stock tires (which I believe are Potenza's (my memory from seeing them on the street, so don't quote me)....But i do hear what u are saying though. The new Z's are pushing +20 more horses (at the crank any) than the earlier one with the same displacement. If anything I would say the new horsepower ratings makes it even more impressive over the earlier engines since all earllier hp ratings took a dive after new regulations.

 

l's tl~ I am so sorry about saturday night. I went to work, and afterwards went to the hospital (my friend had her baby). got home from the hospital @ 8:30 pm and passed out until 2 am. and fell back asleep @ 2:30am I guess I was tired! how about reschedule for this weekend?
