i WOULD RATHER PAY 10-20 CENTS MORE FOR GAS THAT HAS NO ETHANOL IN IT OVER CHEAPER ETHANOL BLEND GAS

MATTER OF FACT i WOULD RATHER PUT 87 OR 89 OCTANE GAS IN MY CAR OVER 93 OCTANE IF THE 93 OCTANE HAD ANY ETHANOL IN IT.

Keep an eye out for that watered down ethanol (shitty runnin, quick burning gas)

Yea thats an epic fail move if you were to do that. watered down 93 is still better than 89 or 87 cause in a high compression motor like ours you would get some serious engine knock & detonation from using that low grade gas thus destroying you cylinder walls. But im sure you weretalking about a one time thing. The gas station in glen burnie i was refrring to contains no ethanol & is still cheaper than any price anyone has named FTMFW!!!!!!!!

shit tls should be able to use 89. i use the shit (well used to) in the winter no knocks and mpg was unphased. but summer time naaah ecu would tweak and add more fuel

TLS ECU is programmed for 91 or better. If anything less goes the ECu will automatically retard timing and u will get less than 14mpg and some rediculous engine knock. Believe me i know. I mad the mistake once and my car was sputtering around stupid. Luckily that was my last motor Now the TLP is another story due it its lower compression it can run on less than 91.

Yeah, i see your point. But they have been using ethanol in Fuel for years. Matter of fact, there are alot of drag cars running ethanol. But most times i dont feel like driving around to find a gas station with no ethanol.

 

Yeah I have seen those drag cars on TV...dont they run on PURE ETHANOL....not the same blended shyt...there engine is converted to run on pure E85...like those flex fuel GM and Dodges. Those Durangos and Tahoes can run on pure ethanol or gasoline. Which is kinda tight..cause they prolly run just as smooth on either or...unlike my car which runs hard and not smooth at all when i put any ethanol gas blend...especially if it has the full 9(legal limit) of 10%

I AM BOUT TO CONVERT MY ENGINE TO RUN ON PURE URINE..AND SEE HOW THAT SHYT WORKS

Moe's car does run very well upstairs. I can hold him off until 120mph. Once I go to 5th gear, he reels me in and goes right on by.

I have some work to do if I wanna see his car above 120mph.

Now if this was a drag race ONLY, it would have been a different story.
