NOPI NATIONALS SUPERSHOW IN ATLANTA IS BACK FOR 2012!!

For any of you that have attended this show in Atlanta before you already know how off the hook it was! The show had a good run from 93-07 until the recession took them out. Don't get this confused with the local NOPI track event series. The Supershow was huge and packed in as many as 6000+ Cars, Trucks and Bikes into the in-field of Atlanta Motor Speedway ! Not to mention the sponsors, discounted parts ,racing, shows, parties and swimsuits you experienced at the track events on a larger scale!! The economy has improved and they are back!! I personally talked to the show coordinator and they want your support to boost the show to what it used to be !! Right now a road tour is in the works from the east coast down to the event but since the details are not final I will not release that information. NOPI will grant Acurazine and any other club Foreign or Domestic a section for the club with your name posted on the show website.

NOPI NATIONALS is returning Sept 22-23, 2012. We hope this is welcome news and that you and/or your club or group will make plans to attend.

It’s at a new venue: Atlanta Dragway. It’s a world class Drag Racing facility located is about 60 miles northeast of Atlanta. There is a link on the website that shows hotels, restaurants and shopping all within 1 mile of the track so it’s not in the middle of nowhere.

CAR SHOW:
100 Show Classes: This will be a "WINNERS ONLY" car show. The number of winners per class will be determined by the division and the number of entries in each class. Details are on the website. There will also be a "Best of Show" chosen for each of 3 divisions with a special award and $1000 each. All winners awards are custom crystal glass awards. $35 to enter the show - includes Car & Driver for both days.

CAR CLUBS:
$1000 ($500each) will be awarded to the club with the “most entries” and the club with the “best quality” (best scores of your top 5 cars)

DRAG RACING:
Quick 32 - $3000 Payout as of 5/22. Anything can run so bring it out. Dial-in times on Saturday - Quickest 32 move to bracket eliminations on Sunday. $35 to enter this class - includes Car & Driver for both days

Supercar Challenge - $2000 Payout as of 6/05 ($1000 per class – winner take all) Open to all model “Supercars”. Run your Ferrari, Lambo, Maserati, Lotus, Porsche, V-Series, Viper, XKR, R8, GT-R, NSX, LF-A, GT500, Z06, ZR1, AMG Benz, M5, M6 etc. down the quarter mile against other top performance models of all the car makes. We have a factory stock and a modified class. Dial-in times on Saturday and one on Sunday. The quickest 8 of each class will run heads up on Sunday. This is a new race for NOPI and classes may evolve as interest and participation is gauged. The latest details will be up on NOPINATIONALS.com

Open Test and Tune - All car show participants will also have the option to drag race their vehicles in Open Test and Tune for FREE

SOUND COMPETITION:
There will also be a USACi 3X Points / World Record sound competition

SWIMSUIT CONTEST:
Love it or hate it, the world famous NOPI NATIONALS Swimsuit contest is well known as one of the best in the country.

I remember the NOPI of the old days, I might have to relive my 20's for a weekend.

The NOPI show has been revamped and all new for 2012. The location and the crowds from all over with varieties of mild to highly modded rides is what made it unique.
