If you are talking about emissions then you might be screwed. There are no "hookups" for VEIP.
If you are buying a car you need to register then you want a proper inspection. If you are bringing your own car in from out of state then you'll identify the mods you are concerned about to allow us to steer you to a testing station - some don't care about tint, some don't care about exhaust mods (because they figure that VEIP will catch you) and so forth.

Car from out of state, need to get it registered in MD, I already did a proper inspection at the dealership and they of course failed my exhaust since I don't have a cat. I just want to get it passed so I can get it on the road and worry about emissions later.

Where in Mont. Co. are you? It'll be hard to find a shop that doesn't check for cats.
