I want to setup a dyno day and need at least 10 people to get this thing goin. If I get the thing goin it will be $50 a person for 3 runs plus AF.

Im shooting for either Friday July 24th or 31st starting at 5pm. The shop is in Beltsville MD. Depending on when I can get 10 people commited will determine that date I choose. I have about 4 or 5 so far that includes you guys.

Just curious as to how you would say the dyno was of by 30hp?

2 of us had dynoed the week before and put down 30 more whp than we did there. There were a couple people who complained about the numbers that day. Not just us

Yea he's right and the hydrolic length adjuster kept getting stuck. Took almost 2 hours to dyno one car.

The thing about dynos is there are so many variables. Different dynos read differently. A Dyno Dynamics brand dyno will read way lower than a Dynojet, that's why the Dyno Dynamics are referred to as heartbreaker dynos. I would say the only way to get a decent idea of how much you're gaining is to stay consistent with the dyno. Go to the same one everytime and try to hit it on days where the weather is about the same as the first time you went. Other than that, dyno days are really to see how well you're doing compared to other cars on that day.

This guy knows what he is talking about there is too many variables in readings. Dyno's are just tools, you really cant say its not accurate since it read 30hp less than the other dyno. Do you still have the dyno sheet of the other place? what correction factor did they use? what was the weather like?
