Hey this section seems to be the least active of all the regions, not sure why, buy for all the guys in MD n some even in VA we should do like a weekly meet, just something we totally start for just us... Like Buffalo Wild Wings on a wing night... We can all just go kick it, grab those 50c chicken wings and get a few beers and just hang out.. i know we have families n all, bring them along too every now n then too...

 

yes it's been quiet here for a while. chapter leader is slacking. weekday driving in DC metro sucks. weekends everyone is busy...

it's hard to coordinate. there used to be a chik fil a weekly meet out near dulles/sterling...not sure if that goes on. it's for all makes.

you can try and generate some interest.

 

Yea.. i work on wings night too but just a decent 8:30- 9:30pm type meet weekly isnt all that bad i think

 

^^in this area?! traffic sucks unless you live near the meet location or in the middle of no where.

there used to be a weekly meet up in MD as well off 355 in rockville. not sure if it got shut down.

every time i try and get something rolling, zero interest is shown and nothing gets developed and it proves to be a waste of time.

hopefully you guys can prove me wrong, but seeing as how only 2 of you are going back and forth with one another i'm going to wager a guess and say that this will still crumble.

i am ready for a get together, it's been too long. if you all have any ideas feel free to throw them out there and we can get something orchestrated.

for as many members as the DMV has...it seems noone wants to get together and play. wasn't there a skyline drive thing that cropped up late last yr that someone (i believe scott) wanted to resurrect. i know there was a invite from the accord guys, but it ended up raining the day they did their drive. i'm sure there will be some fall mega meet. we are certainly overdue for an AZ only meet.

 

Im always down for a meet. I usually go to every show in the tri state area and even venture out to PA, NJ etc.

I see you are from Westminster, MD. Thats where I was originally from, im not in Owings Mills, MD. You ever see a MRP TL-S 2007 up there? Thats me.

Also Ill be going to H20i with some friends, they have a booth and I will be stationed there with my car.

 

I dont usually have reason to go up to Owings, but my mom works for Metlife down there! Ill keep an eye out. I have a 03 NBP TL, lowered with catback and tint. Might see it around Frederick/mt. Airy if you are ever in that area.

Ill be down there staying with some friends that live there, its my first time going but im excited as hell, ill probably see you down there

i'd rather do something a little closer to me if possible...i'd be willing to travel up to an hour tho just to please the masses.

i'd be ok with a daytime thing on a weekend in NoVA (pending time of year), unless there is some place in MD that is worth going to. i like the cars and coffee idea but for AZ or Acuras...it's always nice to see other cars too.
