being between two cars sitting at the intersection waiting for the light to turn green could hardly fall into the category of "... what else you are doing wrong ..."

and this was a Southern York Regional cycle ... no more than a mile from their York Township offices

I haven't had any issues yet. Been through York a couple times but stayed on 30 and 83 for the most part. No issues in Lancaster either.

so grabbed this out of the PA Code

*Glazing material which is intentionally made so that only a portion of a single sheet has a luminous transmittance of not less than 70 percent shall be marked at the edge of the sheet to show the limits of the area that may be used at levels requisite for driving visibility. The marks A S1 or A S2 etc., shall be used with the arrow pointing to the portion of the sheet having a luminous transmittance of not less than 70 percent and the number indicating the item with which that portion of the sheet complies.

as someone said before each county might do it differently but you can always appeal so that it is reviewed outside the county.. it can be annoying.. also that is for side windows.. the rear large window can be whatever % you want

What color is the interior? I have a CBP TL with black interior and I did 35%. Got pulled over once in NW PA and the cop just checked it real quick and told me "Have a nice day."

It really depends on what you are after.

Everytime I drive by cops I slide open the sunroof cover to just allow more light in... if you have a dark interior it makes the tint seem darker... sometimes i even roll down the windows... the cop cant make you roll up the windows and there is no rear window % stated in any rules

but again as ever when else says it is up to the cop and how his/her day is going

I have a black on black TSX. I am thinking 35% might be too dark, I want something a little lighter. You guys know of any good places in the area to get it done. I was looking at Ozone tinting. Any experiences with that?

As for tint laws...I currently have 20% tint all around (except windshield, I just have a bar on the top), The PA LAW is that you cant have any less than 70% sun exposure, but then in the same law, they say that it is up to the County that you are in, and each county has its own tint laws if that makes any sense.

For instance, In East petersburg, I've been stopped twice for the 4 years i've been living here. Once for speeding (27 in a 25 :p) and one to warn me about speeding. Each time the police officer came around to asking for the tint specs, I tell him the truth, 20% all around and he said something like "ok just wondering". But in New Holland, if you have anything darker than 40% in your front windows, you will be pulled over and made to take off the tint or pay a fine.

Its all about where you live in PA since the state law on tint isn't very clear.

and as far as reccomending someone to do your tint for you...I've had Travis Yohe do mine for a couple of my rides...Costs 140$ and he comes to you..

boy , you got that right!

my co-worker was just pulled over on 322 by the New Holland Police for her tinted Nissan Altima and fined a hefty fine....
