Anyone in the DC, MD, NOVA area TRUST a dealership or specialist in the area to cut keys?

I bought a swtichblade from Mr. Heeltoe and I'm not trying to have it ruined. Thanks guys.

 

I will be looking for a cutter and programmer soon also. Any suggestions are appreciated ^^.

 

I made a few calls and I've come across a place that seems pretty decent and knowledgeable. It's called, Arlington Lock and Key, phone is 703 553 5555. They charge 30 for a regular cut key and 40 for a laser cut key. They also charge 55 dollars for programming the immobilizer chip. Definitely a better price than the dealerships in the area.

I also asked them about the switchblade keys and the man said that the machine they use to cut regular keys (milled) isn't built to fit a switchblade although they can try. He said that their success rate with milled switchblades isn't great but they have produced working milled switchblade keys. It's just that the switchblade itself is too big for their machine and in order to fit the key in they have to somewhat force the entire bulky thing in also, this is where the errors come in.

This shop seems very friendly and knowledgeable, give em a call.

 

i had my switchblade millled from macrus at heeltoe and had my local dealer (radley falls church) cut it
