i think i'm coming with a few people but probably gonna end up going straight to the park instead of passing it and then coming back to it.

 

a learning lesson from last year providing this year will be bigger is that D&B cannot handle a 50+ party, w/o a full on reservation (which includes a package) I pulled some strings with the manager and that waitress to get us seated in that area.

 

Sooooooo maybe everyone should eat where they please and then head to the park whenever?

The weather never permits for the Great Falls meet. It's always 20 fucking degrees with snow on the ground

 

Bite your tounge Tyler. Unfortunately my RL is out of commision from the snow as I can't mount my oem wheels because of my BBK clearance and wheel spacers is not a issue. I will either buy another set of wheels for the winter or park it.

We were able to 2 years ago ( to get nice pictures n what not ), park police was okay with it. Last year however, they got bitchy about it and told us we had a certain amount of time to correct our parking or will would get kicked out -__- thats when everything went downhills.

tell me about it.. i think they were complaining about space for other visitors to park.. i mean come on man.. theres like 3-4 more other big empty lots they can park. Plus, usually around that time its pretty empty, we are the only gorup


Side note: If i can remember... Prior meets to Great Falls, there was an admission fee to enter ( forgot how much ) but last year was free. Whats up with that??

 

its january...its friggin' cold...who the hell goes to great falls park at that time of the year anyway? and really? the park police probably did'nt like the fact that a car club showed up. they figure you guys were gonna cause trouble or something. can't be too rowdy with its upscale neighbors if you know what i mean.

or they had nothing better to do except pick on you guys. if the weather isn't crappy and i crawl my butt out of my warm house, i might come and play for a little. maybe this time i'll actually bring the memory card for the camara this time!

Hello everyone, I'm a somewhat new TL owner who would like to attend. I'm particularly interested in hearing an ATLP exhaust res and non-res in person being I plan on purchasing one in the near future.

 

Dipset and CltoTL ( if he's coming ) both have the ATLP, one is the quad n the other base. Not sure about the res/non-res, they would have to fill u in with that

 

Mine is non-resonated and I believe Oscar's is too. Don't quote me on that though.

 

For the past 3 years the park police have not given us a hard time. On the positive note $5 per car on a slow month is not bad for their revenue. We are all adults here and the majority of time we act right. I think getting to great falls is the fun part. We hope the weather is not an impact this year.

Well said Melvin, one of the fun parts is definitely driving as a large group to the park, the looks on other peoples faces when they see a huge caravan of Acuras driving by is priceless.

i know that you guys have never caused trouble, i just find it a little petty that the park police is getting upset over parking in the lines when there is literally no one else there.

the road to great falls is nice and twisty...its also just fun to see a herd of acuras driving around together...like oscar said. plus the peeps in GF i'm sure are like

if the weather permits...i'll probably show up since the summer time meets i'm not really available (pursuing my other hobby). maybe my brother might come out too.

 

Yea, the road leading to the park is nice.

Last year was really the only time theyve hassled us. I think the guy was just on a power trip. They might let us park the cars for a photo-op this year though

 

i dunno bout to u guys.. all this talk ( sorry to get off topic ) about a big meet makes me excited for the 2012 College Park Mega meet not only weather will be nice but everyone's ride will be cleeeeannnn
