Hi All, My 2010 MDX has been on a lease which ends in May. I am considering buying out the lease. Currently have only 38K miles and no problems. I use the MDX to pull my boat among other things.

Would like your experience in whether to buy an extended warranty from dealer or other is necessary. If so any recommendations would be appreciated.

I bought an extended warranty for my 09 TSX online from Curry Acura I believe. I shopped around and got the lowest price I could find.

The warranty I had on my TL Type S paid for itself between 4 transmissions and new engine, 3 headlight ballasts, and a frozen brake caliper. In addition to peace of mind, the warranty is a great insurance plan if you want to keep the car to 100K

 

I say Curry Acura as well as that's where I got the extended warranty for my 01 CL. I never actually had to use the warranty but Curry definitely had the best prices at the time.
