https://acurazine.com/forums/mid-atlantic-311/mischief-tv-presents-autumn-mid-atlantic-mega-meet-10-24-a-793310/

place your name (username) on the attending list, so we can get a feeling on how many people coming.

I am around the Germantown area. I am up for meeting up sometime! Only issue is that I am not sure if I can make the 24th meet up . I will be on travel for business all this week, but I am coming back on the 24th, so I might be able to squeeze it in if I am lucky.

Yeah, but VA is a bit far for me. Plus, I still need to install my springs! Anybody got a garage, preferably with a lift and compressor??

I just got some Teins and I want to install them in the next few weeks. I'm not looking forward to removing the rear seats to do so. I'm going to take off on a Monday to get the alignment done. I'm going to do mine at home.

I have a spring compressor, if you need it.
The back seats should not be difficult at all. If fact, I have read that you dont have to completely remove it to get to what you need. From what I have read, the hardest part was getting the strut/coil assembly out once you have unbolted everything.
I am so close to just doing this myself. I have the compressor tool, tools, garage. It would be easier with air tools, but thats wishful thinking.
You may want wait a few days for the springs to settle before the alignment.
Did you get springs or coilovers?

actually you do have to remove the rear seats to get to those bolts for the rear dampers. what you dont have to remove is the rear speaker cover.

since his teins are used with around 30k on them i think their as settled as there gonna get.

me, you, and mike should just get together and install those suspensions/springs.

Dipset, that is a good idea. dwb they're coilovers with about 30K. working out that weekend is going to be the hardest part. I have my kids every other weekend, and it's getting freaking cold.

lets try to get the meet nailed down. no one is taking charge & setting a date and time.

Kind of defeats the purpose of "DIY", doesn't it?
Not to sound ungrateful---I appreciate the offer very much. I just am trying to A) learn and do something new on my car and B) save money.
Besides, Fairfax is a bit far for me (southern PA).
I can tell you I would consider it for something like a timing belt, though!
