Are there any car meets in the MD, DC, VA (metropolitan) area from the members here? I searched for car meets in the forum and only found one for Canada. This would be a great way to meet some of the local members and check out everyone else's cars and mods.

 

I'm not aware of any, but good idea.

 

Yeah, they used to do car meets in a commuter lot in Woodbridge back in 2004 but it's been awhile. They even had vendors come out and raffle t-shirts, free dynos, and parts and stuff. It would be nice to do some get-togethers in the summer.

 

No not really anything consistent. all really random. I know springfield had them, then crofton and rockville...its pretty much sporatic...

 

Yeah, it was a bit more constant a few years back but it seems to have died down. Would be nice to start them back up again.

 

Have you checked the Mid-Atlantic Forum? I think they are planning a meet in January. Its mainly 3rd gens though.

Its typically packed even when its freezing outside. Its tucked away so unless people act stupid (burnouts, donuts, etc) we normally have no cop issues. Also has a McDonalds right across street for food/bathroom.

Typically goes from around 9pm-11pm and then people start diverting and doing "other" things

All types of cars and the bays are kept unblocked so people can still wash their cars. We normally always have a few GTRs and other exotics (lambos, ferraris) present.

I'd love to gather a group of us to ride their together as I know very limited people there.

Yep. Just lookup Flagship fridays on facebook. The location changes sometimes due to some issues recently with cops.
