I don't know about yall up there in VA, but we just had one hell of a storm hit here. I'm in Cary, which is right outside of Raleigh btw. I have a little story:

My girlfriend's parents pay for her gas, unlike mine, so when we hang out, I'll park my car at her house and we will drive around in her car. It's been crazy hot and humid here (more than usual) so today I parked and had two windows rolled down about 2 inches each and the sunroof vented to keep the air circulating so it isn't too hot inside. We are at my house and it starts down pouring like no other. Thunder like hell etc etc, pretty much it felt like Hurricane Floyd was hitting us again. We grab our shit and leave in her car so I can close my windows. Branches are all over the roads and every light is out. People around here can't drive, so they don't know when a light is out, you treat it like a 4-way stop. I almost got smacked by a woman (not surprising) in a Volvo V40 station wagon. I handled the situation by giving her the one fingered salute and laying on the horn. She stopped in the middle of the intersection and I proceeded around her. Anyways, once we get back to her house (~5 miles away) and it's even worse outside. Multiple trees in her neighborhood are down in the roads and the power is out. I pull in her driveway and run to my car which was parked in the street. I saw twigs and leaves smacking the shit out of my car and I can barely see because of the sheets of rain are coming down so hard. I run to my car and put my hand in my soaked pocket, soon realizing I left my keys on my kitchen counter back at my house. I angrily get back in my girlfriends Civic and drive back to my house, dealing with the same shit I had on the way to her house. I go inside, grab towels and my keys, and dip out again. When we get back to her house with towels and keys in hand, it's sunny as can be outside. The inside of my car is totally soaked. The wind was blowing the rain sideways so badly that my dashboard all the way up to the windshield was wet. I had water on my back seats, steering wheel was soaked, leaves in the A/C vents, and the windows were steamed up like no other. I swear I'm never cracking my windows again

Thanks guys. Had an accident on July 3rd. Slipped, fell, and landed on my fist.

4th right metacarpal fracture and hamate fracture/dislocation.

I have a hard cast now but I can't shift gears...sucks. and my girl sitting next to me can't shift fast enough for me to keep up with the caravan.

I should be healed by the all east coast meet.

I expect to see a great turnout!
