6th Annual Great Falls Meet 1/12/14 VA/MD/NC/PA Come On Up!
hey everyone, it's your friendly neighborhood chapter leader checking in to remind all of you about the 6th annual great falls acurazine meet!
scheduled date is 1/12/14
we will meet at the park first at 11:00AM (9200 old dominion dr Mclean , Va 22102)...there will be a $5 charge to park there for each car. passengers ride free. there, we can take pictures, get some group shots, and enjoy the scenery.
afterwards, those who want to can head to a local restaurant/bar to watch some football and grab some food/beer/whatever.
as always, no obnoxious revving of your engine, no burnouts, no alcohol or drugs, everyone drive responsibly on the way there, just use common sense and we can all have a good time. it takes a lot of people to make this a successful meet, and only one person to ruin it. don't be that guy.
pets are welcome.
caravans can all be worked out in this thread, i know this meet attracts members from all different states. i hope to see a lot of old and new faces at this meet...be sure to clean your cars and bring your camera! let's make this one to remember!

I will try to get my section of the group to be at the park first so others know which lot we're meeting in. If a group or someone happens to get there before us, just find a empty lot (usually the 3-4th lot after entering the gate is empty). Those coming later, just keep driving north once you enter the gate and just look for a bunch of Acura's, Hondas. You won't get lost.
I will be at starbucks on rockville pike ( sports authority shopping center ) around 10am and plan to leave from there no later than 10:45am. PM me for my number if you have any questions.

barring any weird crap happening in my life like last year or the weather is unfavorable....this will be on my radar...it's been a while since i came out to play. i've been a little busy with my other hobby.

i'm planning on it...last year crazy happened. i was really looking forward to coming and then things got real around that time last year. hope we have a freakishly nice day.

its going to be winter time so doubtful... but maybe ill just put them on for that one day lol. i posted this up on the facebook 3G tl group page and will request to spread the news on the acura IG pages.

on a serious note.. i have a request to change the meet to that saturday instead of sunday since few people will be traveling more than 4hrs and dont wanna be rushed to get home sunday evening. who agrees? because i vote for saturday

I came to the meet last year and honestly, I don't know why meets are always held on a Sunday. I don't live super far, but it does suck to do all that driving in one day and then have to get up for work the next day. Also it makes me less inclined to grab some food or a beer with other members because I do feel rushed to get home so I can relax before having to go to bed.
So personally I would like to see the meet changed to Saturday.

Alright so i think from the Hampton/Norfolk area there's a few people going. I know i may be going just not sure which car to bring and have maybe, 3-4 guys interested and they might have some more and then maybe Adrian or Morgan might even though and the other TL owners around the area. So, maybe from down here it might be even like, 10-15 cars alone.
