Thumbs up rockstar143's NBP 2004 6MT Acura TL -Clean Title/No Accidents ★ Plantation Fl ★

Year: 2004
Make: Acura
Model: TL
Price: $9000
Mileage: 112600
Color: Nighthawk Black Pearl
Location (State/Prov): FL

Hello All,

My TL is up for sale. I'm not pressed for time or money and it's very important to me that the car goes to the right person.

1. Price: $9,000, but Negotiable
2. Mileage: 112,600 (Car not being driven)
3. Color, Transmission-auto or manual: Non-Navigation NBP, Manual
4. Reason for selling: I bought another 3G TL!
5. Location: Plantation, FL
6. Pictures: see attachments
7. Are you the first owner? Second Owner, but first owner was Stepfather and I picked the car off the showroom floor.
8a. Title is clean/clear/rebuilt/salvage/if other, explain further (select one): Clean title in hand, never been in an accident.
8b. Do you have title in hand or it is being held by a lienholder: Title in hand
9. VIN: Will Provide Offline
10. Modifications: See below
11. Service record: Almost all services done myself at recommended intervals, records kept in the car's maintenance log. Acura of Pembroke Pines did the dash replacement, Recall on PS hose, and Driver Seatbelt replacement along with all tire balances and recent alignments.
12. Not Leased

Anyone that has followed my thread in the past has probably seen the car in various states of modification. The below is how the car currently sits and how it will be sold. There are some desirable and big ticket items I've decided to leave on which obviously affect in my asking price.

I believe in being forthright with people and letting the right buyer make the decision on whether or not this is the right car for them.

The Good:
The car is mechanically solid and has not left me stranded in the 7+ years I've owned it. The car turns heads everywhere it goes and I've been extremely methodical with addressing maintenance (both preventative as well as things that pop up) so there's nothing that needs to be done right now. The car drives strong, the clutch and transmission are butter smooth, the sound system is clear and very strong and sounds absolutely perfect.

The less good:
The car has been a primarily daily driven car for nearly 12 years now. It has it's share of rock chips and front and back bumpers have imperfections. The accessory tensioner makes noise when the car has not been driven, but goes away immediately and doesn't return when the car is driven regularly.

2004 Aspec Acura TL ~112,600 miles

Suspension/Wheels:

Koni yellow shocks
H&R Sport Springs
Type S tophats
Front SPC adjustable balljoints
New Kumho AST tires on 18x8.5 Aspec wheels refinished in matte graphite

Fenders all rolled for maximum clearance

Intake/Exhaust:

RV6 True Dual Exhaust with custom OEM look tips
AEM DryFlow filter on intake resonator tube (CAI with OEM LOOK)
E-Shift Pro-Cats High FLow Catalytics (No Check Engine Lights)

Folks, if you're viewing this thread and have any questions about the car, all you need to do is check the forums - Jeremy's car is one of the most well maintained, documented, and tastefully modified TLs this forums has ever seen. He has been one of the foremost contributors to this forum and has oft inspired me to continue to push my own contributions further.

Best wishes if you're looking to get this one - this is just about as good as it gets!!!

I have to say you were one of the first that I followed through out my time here on the forums and the reason I had fell in love with my original NBP TL-S. Too bad you're letting her go with the A-Spec wheels! Would have loved to do a swap with my waffles and a little extra on the side of course due to some curb rash from the previous owner I got them from.

GLWS brotha! I'm sure it will go fast!

Thanks, man...
Funny you mention that because I considered putting the waffles that came on my blue car on it...but I feel like the aspecs look better and would help the sale. If I don't get near my asking price and I have to part out, I'll certainly keep you in mind.

The day has sadly come While I absolutely love the KBP, I'll miss this one. I truly hope it finds a great home and that the next owner cares about it as much as you have. GLWS, Jeremy!

Thank you Jake and Tyler

I can't lie...every time I drive it around to keep the battery charged, I think to myself...maybe I should sell the blue one and keep the black one. It just drives so smoothly and sounds so good.

Really Kobe retiring and then you putting this up for sale on the same day. Thanks Jeremy make my day worst.

Whoever buys this car is going to be a lucky SOB.... If it was 2 months earlier I would have snagged it and not care what the wife said.

Jeremy is a close friend of mine and I have seen and driven this car when I visit him down in Florida. I must say for being a 12 year old car, it certainly does not look like it despite what he listed in the "less good" section of his post. Anytime I am down there I always admire how fantastic the paint looks in person despite the flaws that J might see. He has maintained this car exceptionally well and has taken nothing but the best care of it. I can also confirm the trans and clutch are butter smooth and it drives like a dream.

GLWS my friend, someone is going to get one hell of a car!

Well it appears you have plenty of people but I'll still vouch...awesome guy and legit seller. His thread is super well documented and the car is taken care of as if it were a newborn. I've seen the car in person many times and it makes me sweat that his car is so well maintained.

Buy with confidence, people.

Good luck, J! I know it'll go to a great home.

at the "suck" auto correct.
Thanks boys, I certainly appreciate it. I'm not really in a rush but am mildly annoyed at having to extend insurance on it for test drives. lol...
I'll give it another few days, then it goes on the the list of Craig, autotrader and other local spots. I'll also probably marker for sale on the rear window.

I never hit a CL rendezvous without my burner
Worst deal I've had was this one Jamaican AHOLE...that made me carry the S2000 stock exhaust over to meet him TWICE and then played me and bought ONLY the test pipe after I told him not to waste my time if he didn't want it. I really wanted to punch that little POS in the mouth.

Why Ronaldo? It's a serious thread, I'm not constantly bumping...
and his suggestion was legitimate because they do have that at his local PD for Craigslist meetings.

In all seriousness, I'm trying my hand locally and posting to craigslist, although the ad keeps getting flagged because I tried re-posting it from my work email. I'm so impatient.

That's ok. It's your thread but I just think there's a lot of extraneous postings, which I knew would happen when you posted and I'm not going to harp on this but I just wanted you to be aware that there are some posts that actually don't have anything to do with the sale.

There have been 42 posts so far and not one that was an offer to buy or a question about the car or any interest in the sale.

Just saying that some people might be put off by all the posts.

I appreciate it, Ron. I'd appreciate you cleaning up anything that isn't just a friend saying I'm trustworthy etc. I agree, I knew there'd be banter but I definitely want the sale being taken seriously. Thank you!

I took it as a sign that craigslist wasn't allowing me to post for a reason...so I paid and listed it on autotrader. Wish me luck!

J, do thy have those autos for sale weekends in Florida? In Cali we have a location like a community college campus on a Saturday and private party sellers can bring their cars up there to see if they can get a sale.
