Then in another area, on the same page, marked as:

FYI if your knob is worn and you need to replace it with factory looks, 4G TL is almost identical the only thing difference is the stitching pattern. 3G knob on the left and 4G on the right.
Oh and the 4G TL knob is about $20 cheaper.

 

Now that's just mean lol! But honestly really good information, I assume they look the same on top and the 4G fits fine? Part # for a 4G? I'm seeing 2 in your pic - 54102-SEP-A02ZA and 54102-SEP-A01ZA, probably a misprint perhaps...

 

54102-TK5-A01ZA maybe? Might go with this...

 

Good idea idea! If knob is still in a good shape, probably best to but a new 4g and keep the good one in storage until we all retire?

Yea oops, probably just gonna go with a brand new 4G knob since they are available and costing less is just a bonus.

Thanks for the post about the 4G knob! I bought a new 3G knob about a year or so ago and used a compass cutter to cut a piece of clear film chip protect the silver finish.

 

I almost don't even want to put it on lol...
