Acura RDX 2019 - 2021
Description:

Hello everyone, the wife decided the coilover kit was too low for her so it is now up for sale.

This is a JVR coilover kit (Same as SF Racing) and includes the front camber plate option along with custom Swift springs. The springs were swapped out to a lower spring rate to better work with the RDX. The dampers (Shocks) have 32 way adjustability and and includes adjustable lower spring perches for height adjustment. The original coilover springs are not included as we threw them away... I would not recommend using such crazy high spring rates anyways.

Spring rate comparison:
Stock RDX Spring rates: F = 171 lbs/in R = 344 lbs/in
Eibach Lowering Springs: F = 190 lbs/in R = 375 lbs/in
Original Coilovers: F = 671 lbs/in R = 503 lbs/in
Swift Springs: F = 280 lbs/in R = 392 lbs/in

I did also get a custom set of longer front dampers form JVR which if installed will allow the front to be adjusted higher. In the pics of our RDX the front height was at it's highest setting and could go lower from there (which is why we asked for longer dampers) and the rear could be set higher or lower from what shows in the pic.

I will include the longer front dampers with the kit so the new owner will have two front sets!

This kit with custom Swift springs was $1500... will let the whole kit go for half that. We only put about 50 miles on them before the wife said they have to come off and we went back to our Eibachs. LOL

My loss is someone else's gain. Details on the install are posted below.

Is this still available?

I am worried about the front being too low and compromising the ride. Thoughts?

Yes, the kit is still available. Agreed, the front was a bit low even on the highest setting with the original shock cartridges. The picture is what it looked like. We told the company about it and they sent us a 2" longer front strut cartridge that can be used to raise the front higher. These extra long cartridges will come with the kit.

Thanks for the info. I want these, love the look. A little hesitant of the ride quality as I drive roughly 2k miles per month in my rdx. Thinking the Eibach springs might be a better fit.

That is the nice thing about this coilover setup, the height and shock settings are fully adjustable so you can dial in what you want.

Hi! I'm will be purchasing a 2020 RDX soon and I'm interested in the coilovers. Was thinking of just going with the Eibach springs but i'm considering these. I'm located in NY zip code 11570.

Hi Christian, I have on other person interested who was also in NY... shipping quote for them via UPS was about $118 since it is cross country.

I have no issues if someone wants to arrange their own shipping for this if they can get it cheaper. My delivery zip is 95020 and the package is 27"x19"x8" at ~50lbs.

Ok, how do we go about the transaction? By the way, how your RDX looks help me decide on getting one! I'm even thinking about buying the same wheels.
