Summary

Up for sale is a 2005 6-speed MANUAL transmission TL with Navigation and Brembo brakes. Stock wheels/tires are included. The car was originally leased from 2005 to 2008, and I became the second owner in 2008 buying as an Acura Certified Pre-Owned. The car has been well maintained and modified over the years, however please read the descriptions very carefully. Keep in mind, this car is modified, so buyer should be aware of all modifications, flaws, and notables listed below. Reason for Sale

I no longer need the car. Since March 2019, the car has seen less than 500 miles, however still has had maintenance done to keep it in working condition.

• Carfax is available: CA Kept. Second Owner + Front Minor Damage Reported. No major accidents. Airbags have never been deployed.
• Critical TL Maintenance: Water-pump, timing belt,tensioner, spark plugs, transmission fluid was changed at 146,231 miles.
• Passed CA Smog as of September 2021
• 3rd cat was deleted & replaced with an ATLP Race pipe. The 3rd cat will not be provided.
• Car has never been smoked or vaped in
• Battery was replaced in December 2020
• Oil/Oil Filter changes were done every 3,000 miles or 3 months with Mobil 1 synthetic (whichever came first). Oil changed by third party or directly myself. Carfax service history also available.

• OEM Conversion: 07-08 Base Front with 07-08 Type-S Chrome Grill
• OEM Conversion: 07-08 Base Front Fog Lights with HIDs

• OEM Base Headlights with 07-08 Type-S Diffuser (Rare piece to source). Retrofit with upgraded ZKW lenses & integrated switchback LED strip turn signals.
• OEM Conversion: Rear Type-S License Plate Trim Piece (This was swapped directly from an 07-08 Type-S and a rare find)
• OEM Conversion: 07-08 Type-S Rear A-Spec Lip (Rear 05 OEM Bumper was cut to fit Type-S Lip and to fit the ATLP Quad Exhausts. Removing the lip will expose a cut up bumper.)
• OEM Side A-Spec Side skirts (Bottom was cut to fit puddle lights. Light are currently not functional.)
• OEM Window Visors
• 35% Tint Front & Rear Driver/Passenger, and Rear Window. No Front Windshield Tint.
• Nighthawk Black Pearl Painted sidemarkers (Currently unplugged)
• Cold Cathode Rear License Plate Lights (This is custom, and recently added. This will need to be replaced with the same brand of cathode tubes/unit. If there ever is an issue with the license plate lights, then buyer must follow the same spec OR be reverted to OEM license plate lights requiring additional work. There are Acurazine forum threads on how to do this mod.)

Wheels/Tires

• Set of 4 Avant Garde M359 Wheels 18x9.5 +22 Offset. These are custom wheels were made directly by Avant Garde with 225/40/18 Falken tires (1 tire has a bubble and needs to be replaced) 
• 1 set of Gorilla lugs and wheel locks (Will provide 2 keys: 1 lock and 1 for other lugs)
• Set of 4 OEM 17” Base Wheels and 235/45/17 Sumitomo HTR A/S P01 Tires will be included (Not much tread left, and needs to be re-balanced)

Suspension

• Megan Coilovers with manual dampening (Spanner wrenches will be provided to adjust ride height)
• Front Skunk2 Camber Arms (Upgraded/Modified for additional Upper Control Arm clearance)
• Adjustable Camber/Toe Arms

Exhaust

• ATLP V1 Quad Exhaust
• ATLP Race Pipe (3rd cat was deleted, and will not be provided.)

Interior

• LED Interior (map lights, doors, trunk)
• DICE iPod/iPhone Interface/Connector (This is currently using the aux/dongle capability of the unit, and has an accessible wire coming through from the side of the navigation screen. This wire can be relocated through the center console, but will require some further work/modification. The DICE unit itself is behind the middle A/C Vent. There is an iPod connector in the middle console, but will need to use older Apple connections. If the old iPod connector is used, the DICE unit will need to be accessed and switched from Aux to iPod.)

• 10” Subwoofer + Amplifier (This is a clean, subtle bass delivery)

Wear/Notables 

*Below is a well-documented list of wear and notables. I would say I’ve covered roughly 95% in the list below. If there is anything seen on pictures, or you have additional interest, please ask. Unfortunately, I am limited to 24 pictures on this listing.*

Exterior

• Roof and hood have oxidation and clear coat failure from UV damage
• Roof has some bubbling/rust near driver front side
• Various scratches/marks/dings are all around the vehicle. (I tried to capture the major scratches/dings as best as possible in the gallery). As second owner, I’ve done my best to have it professionally detailed time-to-time, or done myself.
• Small rust spots were located on front passenger fender, engine bay near upper control arms, roof, and some other parts of the car.
• Front plate is damaged, and hood has various dents from repair
• Front bumper grill paint has paint chipped
• Front lip double sided tape is loosening and tape needs to be replaced
• Driver rear door has a small scratch/gash
• Rear bumper has a chip and small crack
• Rear lip (driver side has a scrape)
• Rear bumper was modified/cut to fit Type-s lip and ATLP Exhaust. This is not visible with lip attached. However, when lip is removed, bumper is cut up to fit the ATLP Quad exhausts.
• Side skirts were modified/cut on the bottom to fit puddle lights. There is a puddle switch near trunk release, but puddle light wires were cut and does not work. This can not be seen unless removed/seen from underneath
• Front and Rear Fenders have been professionally rolled
• Wiper trim/Wipers plastic paint is faded and chipping
• Various clips are missing
• Engine bay covers will not be included
• Front plastic fender liners are torn/ripped
• Passenger side exhaust has a dent and scratch, and driver side exhaust has a scratch
• Rear passenger taillight has spots of leds burnt out
• Current Avant Garde wheels have curb rash; front passenger tire has a bubble (will need to be replaced)
• OEM Stock wheels have curb rash, with some paint peeling on Acura emblems, and tires have little tread remaining.

Interior

• Leather seats are in excellent condition with some scratches/wear/markings. Rear driver seat has a rubbed scratched mark.
• Front passenger map pocket vinyl trim is loosened
• Dashboard is unfortunately cracked across from end-to-end, steering wheel to glovebox.
• Interior Lights: LEDS are fully functional such as map lights, door lights, trunk lights, however some center console led lights are burnt out, and not visible at night (i.e., some climate control lights are burnt out)  
• Clock is unable to be changed. This may be fixed, but I have not found a way.
• Cover for cup holder was removed (this is a common piece that breaks and was removed altogether) 
• Rear view mirror is loose at times
• Rear passenger door motor lock does not work
• Light smudges on the roof liner from normal wear
• Navigation has not been updated and has year 2005 maps
• Handsfree Link (HFL) is currently disconnected to prevent battery drain. I cannot confirm this works.
• Cruise control system works, but button gets stuck occasionally, therefore does not keep Cruise Control engaged.

Drive Quality

• Coilovers have always been set to near full stiff dampening. The ride is very stiff, noticeable, and squeaks coming from all four corners. On the current setup, you will feel everything on the road, and driving must be approached with care.
• Manual transmission currently has no issues. Gears never get stuck.
• Front engine mount is broken
• Power steering is tight at times 
• Power steering pump is leaking, but slowly; air boot is torn
• Oil pump was advised to be leaking, but I have not seen any leaking on the driveway, as it's been parked for a very long time.
