Comptech Sport Axle Back Exhaust System; 01-03 CL-S; P/N 240-111

The items came off a NY state car (2003 CL-S) that I returned to stock and have no need for anymore.

This axle back exhaust system is complete (all parts present) and are being placed for sale 'as is'. With that said, overall & surprisingly these CT mufflers cleaned up very well and are in pretty good shape having spent the last 17 years (45Kmiles) exposed to the salty roads of NY state. Thanks to the quality materials used by the manufacturer for the now belly-up CT-Engineering.

The flanges have diminished from rust / element exposure and are slightly uneven. There is, however, enough meat left, though, to make the connections at the B-pipe flanges. As seen in the pictures provided, I've included new fastening hardware and two high temperature flange gaskets. The inner diameter is 2" or 51mm to reduce restriction & maximize flow; however, this over-sizes the outer diameter of the gasket itself. Excess gasket material can be trimmed if desired or used. Furthermore, I would recommend sandwiching the gaskets, upon installation, with some kind of 'curable' room temperature vulcanizing (RTV) gasket compound like Permatex / JB Weld Ultra Copper.
