Description:
For sale is my beloved 03 that has been climate-control garage-kept ever since I purchased it. I am located in northern NJ. Mileage is approximately 160k. I originally purchased the vehicle from someone in Georgia around 10 years ago, and the car is, for its age, quite immaculate with no rust and a near mint interior. It could use a paint job as there is some visible paint corrosion on the roof. Other parts of the car, the paint is much better, like the front bumper which is very new looking.
Engine runs great. No issues there. Never have had any. Never any trans issues, I guess I got lucky.
The vehicle has many performance upgrades, all done by Paul Sobstyl in Clifton NJ. For those that don't know, Paul was where the OG's in the NY/NJ area sent their Acura's for work. He is a former Acura mechanic and very well known on AZ. Every single thing was done by him. Regular maintenance as well.
UPGRADES:
- Tanabe Medalion cat-back exhaust system
- Tein Flex Z coilover damper kit suspension system
- Progress rear sway bar + Honda sway bar stabilizer link kit
- Pioneer DMH-W4660NEX in-dash multimedia system
- Reverse camera system
- Injen cold air intake
- DC Sports ceramic headers
- Magnaflow catalytic converter
- P2R manifold spacer
- P2R thermal intake manifold gasket
- Genuine OEM Acura TL rims with Kumho East tires (newish)
- Fat Four Customs total brake upgrade (Power Stop Evolution front/rear drilled/slotted rotors + brake pads, RL calipers (purchased separately on eBay and refurbished through WerdWerx Garage, Daniel Hill), RL caliper rebuild and hardware upgrade kit, caliper brackets, stainless steel brake lines
- New headlights + tailights
- Headlight HID kit
- Custom Accord fogs with matching HID kit + OEM TL fog light switch installed in dash
- Blue dash light kit
- 20% tints
- LED white reverse lights
- Replaced numerous interior pieces for cosmetic reasons, such as multiple dash trim pieces, door panels, interior door handles, carpet, floor rugs, center console pieces, gas cap, windshield wipers, trunk parts, brand new spare tire.
- Timing belt service/replacement
- Transmission flush/service
- Annual oil changes with OEM Honda engine oil
- New transmitter fobs
- New battery
I also have factory repair manual and electrical manual that together cost me in the $350 range. I can throw that in for free.
I also have an extra Accord fog light kit just in case the current one ever gets damaged and needs to be replaced.
I also have a M3 style lip spoiler that is not installed that I can include. My intention was to install it when having the car painted.
Cosmetic Imperfections:
- Paint corrosion mainly on roof + other scratches and dents from normal usage.
- Small rip in rear seat
- Small rip in ceiling fabric
All of this I have recalled to the best of my knowledge. I am not aware of any performance issues and the car has been meticulously maintained and very lightly used. Tanabe Medalion sounds great, deep and powerful and not ricy sounding at all. A car I planned on keeping forever, but due to a life change I must let go of it; hopefully to someone who will baby it as much as I did. I'm sorry if you are wanting additional pictures, but the car is being kept in climate-controlled storage and it is not easy for me to access it with my schedule.
