2008 Acura TL Type-S w/ A-spec kit (from Factory)

This car came from the factory with its 6spd manual transmission, Type-S wheels, and A-spec kit. Honda never disclosed production numbers but is estimated fewer than 2.5% of the Type-Ss came with a manual gear box, and even fewer with the A-spec kit and Type-S Wheel option. This is the car that enthusiasts are trying to replicate with their builds.

She has been regularly maintained and cared for since purchased in Aug. 2013, with few selective upgrades (listed below). More than 100k miles have been driven by me, with very few issues along the way. The paint is in fairly good condition and has had a few areas redone in 2016. She has acquired a couple minor chips, dings, and scratches over the years, but she's in much better shape than many of what I've seen. The interior had areas reupholstered in 2015, including the lower part of the rear seat, and lower part of the front passenger seat. Everything was matched to original material. There is a small tear on the driver’s seat bolster stitching, and the dash just began to crack on the passenger side about 6 months ago. In 2020 the audio system was completely upgraded with Pioneer head unit, MB Quartz speakers, MB Quarts stock replacement subwoofer, and additional 2x Rockford Fosgate 12" P2 subwoofers in the trunk. The head unit is compatible with wireless Android Auto and Apple Car Play.

She had her 160k mi service done last year and included new timing belts, serpentine belt and tensioner, and water pump. Both CV axles were replaced in 2022.
