I have an '06 RSX Type S with 24k on the clock. When going over bumps I have begun noticing a thumping on the right side. My dealership had mentioned a problem similar to this a while back prior to buying the vehicle but I am just wondering how frequently this occuring in these cars. Feedback would be helpful. So the shock's not blown, and you're on stock suspension? Could be your springs clapping, honda makes these little rubber tubes called bump stops that you can put on your springs if they're clapping.

 

This is a common issue on the RSX. Its pretty hit or miss.
