RSX check engine

RSX check engine
I am having some troubles with my 2002 Acura RSX.
The check engine light comes on with an error code for the A/F sensor and the knock sensor as well.
While accelerating at ~ 60 km/hr, there sometimes is a noticeable shake from the front right tire like the car is struggling to go. If you accelerate a little harder, the car doesn't shake.
The gas mileage has also been lacking.
Looking for a little advice/experience with something similar.
Would a faulty A/F sensor cause all these issues?
Is there a bigger issue that I should be taking this in for?
Thanks for your help in advance!

It sounds like you need to replace your O2 sensor. Search Amazon for Denso 234-9005 (Type-S) or 234-9004 (Base) which is a plug-in replacement for the primary sensor. You will also need a special O2 sensor wrench to remove and install the sensor. This tool is a socket with a slot in it to slide the wire through. The one I used is an offset socket configuration.
After replacing the sensor, disconnect the battery or pull the ECU fuse to reset the ECU. One the system recalibrates, you the CEL should stay off unless there is another problem. I suspect that the knock sensor code is a side effect of the A/F (O2) sensor failure.
