New to the forums! And my RSX-S!

Hey everyone, I live in Alberta... Canada.

Drive a RSX Type S, 06'. Its JGM (Its a US car), and current mods are AEM SRI, Tanabe Hyper Medalion Exhaust, and a sound system.

Heres some pictures of it, bought it a few months ago. It has 65000 Miles.

I'll upload my inside pics in a bit.

holy crap, thats a big amp. nice pickup.
let me ask you something, how long do you own a car for? i mean being out in canada, i can imagine the amount of rust build up on cars. ive seen many cars from up north find their way down south.

Thanks a lot. Just got my sub in. Will upload pics of that in a bit, it hits soooo hard.

I've only owned it since April, but its been driven in Canada for over a year.

Luckily we don't use salt here (Alberta), we use sand instead most of the time. So they don't rust, unless you never wash the underbody.

But yeah in the salt I think most people that car about their cars usually just spray them off 2-3 times a week. Keeps the salt off.

do you have pictures of the exhaust setup? I'm curious to what it looks like since the Hyper Medalion is discontinued. http://www.tanabe-usa.com/exhaust.asp

Yeah, prev. owner didn't clean it much at all so it looks kinda gross in this picture haha.

I might be upgrading soon though, since this piping is actually pretty small. I may go for a 3" setup.

youll loose power n/a 2.25" piping is enough. Turbo go 3".

No they recommend at least 2.3, 2.5 for maximum power.

Sick ride. Is your amp powering speakers or do you have a sub and if so what kind?

Thanks. My amp is powering the two front speakers, I got Kicker's in the front. Amazing quality, they are components with tweeters.
I'm not running any rear speakers because they aren't needed in the hatchback, you get way better SQ with just fronts.
Then I have a JL 8" W3. Its so amazing, its way louder than most of my friends two 10". Since its a hatchback. Plus its running at like 230W RMS I think.

RSX's are the easiest cars to JDM out cleanly. Love RSX-R wheels or get rotas Torgue which a way cheaper copies.

Damn that's a great looking RSX! I love it!

Did you have any issues bringing a USDM car into Canada? Extra taxes, inspections, etc?

New to the forum here. I had an '03 RSX and upgraded to an '06 when I found out the line had been abandoned by Acura. Love the car...just got back from a 4K trip out west, and the car didn't miss a beat.

Thanks a lot! I appreciate it.

When I purchased it, the guy who owned it got it shipped in from the states.
But in Alberta we have no inspections at all lol. We don't have emissions or anything, so thats how I can drive with no catylitic converter haha.

Very nice rides. I'll be taking pics of my RSX after this weekend when I get my new rotors in paint and install them. As well as re paint my calibers.
