depends on what you want from your car. here's how i look at it:
you like leather seats?
is the base enough power for you?
do you want bragging rights for having a type-s? (some people care about that stuff)
do you worry about gas mileage?
insurance costs of a type-s?
probably more things to think about.

Type S - Rims, seats, Lip, kit, brakes, things you can do yourself. More attention, higher insurance.. what are you looking at ? The seats and Rims on the market might run you the difference in the vehicle upgrade. If you prefer a sleeper... I had my Integra and RSX with mods that would pass any Type-S.. but thats because I already invested enough in the car and knew I wouldn't get it back. If you haven't invested much just see what you can get your car for and how much you can get the Type-S ...
