ok so i have a k24z7 and 6 speed tranny from 2012 si laying around and im buying a rsx with out a motor. sooo the plan is to put the k24 in it. my question is what do i need to complete the swap.
will i need the crv passenger mount?
ecu hook ups? etc...
can anyone help please

 

The k24z7 transmission has different mounting then the k20 transmission. I don't know if they make motor mounts for that transmission yet but make sure you look into that. You do need the crv passenger mount. You are going to need a custom exhaust welded because the k24z7 does not use a header, since it is one exhaust port now on those heads.

 

It may be easier to sell your k24z7 setup and source a K24a# + k20a# transmission. I'm running a 06 k24a2 + k20a2 trans in my RSX. Straightforward swap with no custom fabrication
