emissions light on after installing catback exhaust

emissions light on after installing catback exhaust

Is it my 02 sensor or what? No difference is driving car ran a 15.0 at bristol dragway just wondering what i can do to get the light off?

yes its your 02 sensor. It happens on almost every K20 Ive worked on. You need a defouler on your cat or test pipe.

Same thing happened to me?

So i don't need a new sensor, because i was about to purchase one. I would just need a defouler? Where would it go? i didn't remove the cat.

Its funny, because i can clear the error, but as soon as i turn the car on, it comes up.

Also, i have a friend with a crazy ODB II reader (from snap on) and it looked like there was no power (voltage) coming from that sensor?


Let me know your thoughts before i spend any money on anything.

Look for a cheap defouler mod. It's posted everywhere and costs like $3 as long as you have a drill or maybe a machine shop.
