To buy or not to buy?
To buy or not to buy?
I had an 05 TL 6MT until about a month ago when I had a stupid idea of buying something newer and cheaper to maintain... I've now been driving a 2012 Camry SE for a month and I'm already regretting the switch and I'm looking to get back into something sporty ASAP.
I have always been a fan of the RSX since it came out in 2002, and I found a 2006 Type S for sale not far from where I live. It has about 70k miles on it and they're asking just under $14k for it. How long do these motors last?
I'm a 24 year-old young professional male, not looking to put on any mods or anything. Most of the time the people I see driving these cars are not people I would generally associate myself with, but I have always liked them and now that I can afford one it's kind of tempting to go test drive it at least.
Does this seem like a good deal? Is the RSX something that I can drive around without looking like the kid down the street with a big muffler on his civic?
Any advice would be great!

Motor will last you.. I have my Integra still going over 210k, gave my RSX to my boy its about 170k, I can think of a lot of better things to go with for 14k. If you just want something sporty, fun to ride, good on gas, just go with a bike. If you worried about looking like a ricer, then don't rice it out. Keep it stock. The Type S will come with the seats, lip and kit that's enough to give it that sexy agressive look. What color is the car? Keep it simple , enjoy the ride, won't be viewed as a ricer. I think you can get a better ride at 14k though...
