The lock on the drivers side of my 02 RSX won't respond to my remote key. I have to manually unlock the drivers side, then click the remote which will then unlock the passenger door and the trunk. I have a feeling it is just jammed. Is there an easy way to take off the door panel? I have tried once before, but can't find one easy way to do it...

 

If you do a web search on Ab0VE Acura RSX Service Manual (Ab0VE with zero instead of O), you should find a version of the RSX service manual that you can download. This will have instructions on removing the door panel and replacement of the door lock actuator.

 

I have the same problem and just wondering if "jammed" is the problem. is it a quick fix or is it more complicated.
