Hello everyone,

My RSX's battery died recently and when I turned it on my radio needed a code. How do I get this code? I do not have the manual, I never have since I bought it. I was told that the code was in my glove box on a piece of paper but of course I cleaned out my car when I got it and I must have threw the piece of paper away because it did not seem important. I've done a little bit of research and I read somewhere that the code is actually in my fuse box, but upon looking at my fuse box codes I don't know which one it may be. Any ideas? Anyone know the code?

I think I messed with my radio too many times and I may have been "locked" out of being able to enter that code. Any ideas for that as well?

 

The code was provided on a credit-card size card when the car was purchased new. Without this code, you will need to record the serial number of the radio and take it to a dealer and they can retrieve the code. You may need to remove the unit in order to read the serial number off of it.

 

Turns out I threw it away when I bought it because I assume I had no idea what the code was. Either way I have contacted Acura and they gave me the code and it worked fine. I have since wrote it on a small piece of paper and taped it to the outside of my glove box
