Tire suggestions for more comfortable ride?

2016 ILX tech package.

Currently have on stock 215/45/r17.

I called Discount Tire and they said the max I can go is 235/45/r17 which will supposedly give me an inch of sidewall height.

More sidewall more comfort right?

Why not 225/55?

Yes, a taller sidwall will soften the ride. It will also add squirm while driving on twisty roads and make your speedometer read slower that you are going.
