Rear Suspension (Bottom Out????)

Hello All!

My wife's 2016 Acura ILX has a noise like the rear suspension is bottoming out. Especially when 2 people in back seat. Even sounds like rubbing noise when going around turns. Stock rims and goodyear tires in same exact config as stock tires. Anyone else experience this? I looked while changing brake pads and didn't see anything out of the ordinary.

Mine makes a huge thud noise when going over potholes. Had both rear suspensions changed under warranty, but still makes that noise even when there is no one in the back.

I'm having the same problem. 95k miles. Rear tires are wearing quickly (15k miles) and fronts are still at 6/32. I changed the shocks in the rear. Still bottoms out when 3 people are in the back. Any ideas?

yeah definitely not exceeding any weight ratings. I can’t find a decent deal on springs. Any finds? I replaced my shocks with the kyb gas a just shocks so they should be good.

I haven’t but the wear is pretty even and on the rear. I read something on the civic forums about the rear control arms causing excessive tire wear on the rear but I thought they fixed that already.
