Hello all, I’m currently doing a infinite baffle subwoofer install in my 16’ ILX. I was going to screw the baffle down to the frame in the trunk with corner braces. Up top is no issue, but drilling into the bottom worries me. How do I know what is right beneath? I keep thinking I’m going to drill right into the gas tank and blow myself up haha. Should I not drill and use other methods? I know at least a couple on here that have done one
Mods: I think this is better suited to the ILX forum.
OP: I would get under your ILX and see where your fuel tank and fuel/electrical lines are at so you don't drill into them. It might be safer to drill into the framing / brace for your rear seats.

Anything behind the spring perch is safe, the tank is centered under the back seat. The passenger side has the exhaust.
Still a good idea to climb under to make sure you don't drill through something though.
