Hey guys,

When the car is parked, and you row the shifter back to reverse/drive etc, do you guys hear a clicking sound on the driver side dashboard area? I noticed it clicks every time I shift down or up. Is this normal?

I had a rattle coming from under the radio console all the dealer did was put some Velcro tape under the console and that fixed the noise.

 

Turns out the clicking is the Gear indicator on the front speedo dashboard. In my auto, when you change position on the lever, the little display panel changes which then causes a click sound. Verified this to be the same with other auto ilx's.

ok this is odd I have dashboard clicking but it happens all the time when driving..... Acura thinks I am nuts. I cant explain it but it does it all the time
