2016 Acura Ilx - Automatic Rain Sensors??

Sorry for the mediocre photography, but WHAT HELL DOES THIS DO? 😡😠

It was raining recently and I kept playing with controls waiting for the "automatic rain sensors" to kick In. How do I activate them? It wasnt working for me. First and only time Ive experienced automatic rain sensors was when I rented this Cadillac XTS for a 2 week vacation In florida. Im assuming theyre supposed to work like that, but no dice.. 😐😐😐

Help me understand this car please? 😣

In the US, we do not have automatic rain sensors on the ILX. I have the top trim (2016 ILX) and I don't have rain sensors. That ring adjustment is simply the delay interval for the intermittent wipers.

Thumbs down

This auto rain sensor thing is all ass backwards, thx again to a crappy Honda design. If i want just a delay w/o the auto I can't just have that the way ILX's in Canada are setup. Low is sometimes too fast as I just want a manually custom delay w/o the auto kicking in and turning the wipers up too fast on me all of a sudden! only way to stop it is quickly adjust the settings then it goes back to manually, but then the auto will over ride it again. so driving in the rain becomes very annoying with the way they have it setup. I'd rather just have manually custom adjustment at this point. paid for a feature thats useless

Honda should have kept the manually with the custom bar adjustments delay then add another drop down position on the stack to be using auto delay sensitivity using the customs bar adjustments, then also fix to have proper logos on the stack. just look at mist,... lol makes you think it's up not pull forwards. stupid cunts man

No wonder ppl are confused over a simple thing, i heard yah op it's screwy

..Also a side note, the ring adjustment Is the delay Interval for the first setting and first setting ONLY. The rest of the settings are pre-set at that speed and cant be changed.

Isn't this setup the way all car wipers work? I've never seen a car that operated differently.
