16’ ILX on waffles

I’ve had a few suspension/wheel arrangements since taking ownership in 2015. Finally settled with the H&Rs on some TL take-offs. Oem+ look is just cleaner than my prior pair of rpf1s (imo) and the ride quality is much more bearable for Orlando daily driving (whole city is under construction...always).

Thanks - The spacers are Dynofit hubcentric 5x4.5 20mm M12x1.5 64.1. Fenders are slightly rolled, but occasionally rub due to +size rubber/switching back to coils. The muffler is just a 2.5" downturn off the stock piping.

Sold the 16' and picked up a 1st Gen with the k24z7/6mt. Haven't done much yet, but really liking this platform. Currently on Skunk2 springs/Truhart shocks and running a 3.5" Ktuned SRI w/ Ktuner.

S2 manifold installed, running the PRL Motorsports RBC swap adapter kit. Upgraded the lower mount to a Hasport 70a as well. Would've swapped it far earlier had I known how dramatic the improvement would be over the stock mount. Everything feels tighter, smoother, and more responsive.

Currently waiting on a few additional goodies to arrive:

-AP2 S2k Wheels (in keeping with the oem+ theme), pieced together a full set of fronts in great condition
-Hasport upper mount
-Acuity short shifter

Pulls like the previous gen si up top, but with considerably more torque than an 8th gen on the low/mid end. Sounds great, but Is definitely in need of a comprehensive tune. I'm still running the K-Tuner base map while I look into e-tuning options. Installed with the PRL manifold and TB adapter which seemed like the easiest route, but it was still a bit of a hassle to sort out the air intake fitment and wiring to the maf sensor.

I swapped both the factory upper and lower mounts (Torque Solution 75a upper/Hasport lower) at the same time I installed the RBC. The mounts offered the most significant improvement of any bolt on to date - traction, shifting, handling all greatly improved.

K-tuned crash bar arrived this past Friday.

Not even a day later on a nearby street...talk about timing.

Not a single scratch to the oil pan or other downstream components underneath. Well worth the peace of mind.

I know, typically try to avoid brick roads at all costs but didn't have a choice here. $140 for the bar vs. replacing that oil pan was a no brainer. Might pick up another just to have a spare should k-tuned discontinue it.

Whats the offset on them? Going to have to raise the car a bit or add some camber.

+22, and yes, I was running spacers when I had the tires mounted in the pics above. Pulled them off and added a camber kit before realignment. All sorted and no longer rubbing.
