SprintBooster?
all it does is change the throttle tip in.
so, instead of taking 50% throttle at tip in, it changes it to something sooner, like 20% tip in.
if throttle tip in is something you want to change on your car, sure grab the sprint booster.

It also changes response in how fast it will command big throttle changes.
for example, physically it takes around 0.1 seconds to pin the throttle to 100%
the car sees the 0.1 second but then the ECU commands a slow roll up to 100% over 1 second so that the driver and passengers of the “luxury” car don’t feel a sudden jerk forwards.
Sprintbooster, RoarPedal, Pedal Commander, all change that 0.1 seconds physical input into 0.1 seconds ECU commanded throttle.
All the luxury cars do it.
just try jumping on and off the throttle in a BMW 530i, and then try it in an M5 in Race mode. The M5 will break your neck, and not just because of the torque (turbos take a second to spool anyway), but because of the throttle mapping.

Yep, I’ve got a Pedal Commander in my 19 Aspec. It’s cool as hell.
Stock, you really have to abuse the throttle to get downshifts if you’re not slapping the paddles around. Especially in D.
I’ll say that the biggest difference is between 0-45 mph. Pulling out of tight corners, quick direction changes, on and off brakes.
Also in Sport mode it’s really lively with the throttle response and downshifts. It’s how the car was meant to be driven.
Every now and then I switch it back to stock (when the wife drives it) and it’s night and day. Well worth it.
I still get 38 mpg on the highway so it’s pretty transparent in that sense. I have mine turned up to like 75% of maximum response. 100% is ridiculous just fun for showing your friends. Pedal Commander has a Bluetooth app where you can change it on your phone on the fly. Fun for pranks, lol.

So I have the pedal commander and I realized that cruise control is not a good idea when using this device. So i called pedal commander and they told me if I have to use it (cruise control)(IE. when the wife drives it ) to turn off the device and it should be ok to use cruise control. That being said , does anyone know if this thing is safe to use ? Can it it harm the CPU or anything like that? I love the way it works , although it does not seem to help much on the highway. I’m just wondering if anyone with technical experience can help confirm this thing is safe to use.
thanks.

What is your experience?
I have not had any issues with the pedal commander.
I love it. But I called there customer service number and they said that cruise control may not work with the pedal commander. It’s interesting that you use it though. Maybe I got misinformed? I guess I’m always a little bit weary when doing anything with the car that involves the CPU. I know my wife likes to use the cruise control when she drives the car so I usually turn the pedal commander off when she drives the car. Thanks for the info.
