So. First car.....New to the game and have a heavy case of the mod bug.

I have a 2014 ILX 2.4L. So far i tinted the windows (35%), put a rear spoiler, vinyl wrapped my fog lights and put in LED DRL and lowbeams.

I want a diffuser but I can't find one custom fit for the ILX for anything. Can anyone offer any sort of guidance on how to get one to fit? If it means anything, I also plan on getting a rear under body spoiler off the acura site.

Also while you're at it...what are your thoughts on this. I want to black out my window trim and that metal slab of the front grill (leave the actual emblem chrome) but i'm debating on plasti-dipping it vs vinyl wrapping it. Not sure if the somewhat flat black look of plasti dip would look good against crystal black pearl...but thought it could compliment it well.

Just for whoever is wondering...my future mods other than what i listed are:

1. cold air intake with a splash shielf
2. new air filter
3. possibly less restrictive exhaust but i have a lot to learn on this before i do something of this caliber
4. lower it a bit and put some new rims and a slightly bigger tire on it

 

1) buy universal diffuser.
2) measure.
3) if doesnt fit, cut.
4) bolt on, adhere some way.
5) profit
