"Error" flashing when USB is connected

"Error" flashing when USB is connected

I am posting this for my friend that recently bought an ILX. When she plugs in her iphone be tries to use it for music it will just flash "error".

Any ideas?

just to be clear here, she plugs in her iphone using the HDMI Cable or USB ? USB interface use bluetooth technology to transmit sounds. Also when you say it "flash error" where ? on car screen or iphone ? Make sure to pair your phone correctly and the screen has Pandora icon already, just click on it boom it works. also if you have music on your phone same concept.
