2017 ILX audio - USB; music search; volume balancing

A few annoyances with my new ILX (Premium Package) that folks may be able to help with.

1. I put some songs on a USB drive. They sound better than bluetooth music from phone. Do others agree USB is better quality than bluetooth, or perhaps there may be phone settings I need to adjust (doubt it)?

2. I was disappointed that Music Search sees the MP3s on the USB drive, but can't organize them by artist and album (even though it can display that information when a song is playing). Any way to have the car access that information? Yes, I could organize the songs on the USB drive by folder but that isn't as good.

3. When I play music from phone by bluetooth I have to turn the ILX audio volume up high, even if phone volume is high. Then if I switch to radio I get my ears knocked off. My 2007 TSX didn't do this. Is there a solution, perhaps deep in the settings?

4. When I connected the phone using the USB cable it didn't work. The dealer says for the phone (Spotify mainly) I should use bluetooth not USB. Is that true, phone to car through USB doesn't work? It worked for my TSX (using an audio not USB cable).

Thanks for any insights.

1. Yes, USB does sound better and it's louder vs bluetooth
