2016 - Visor Light Cover Replacement

In replacing the vanity / sun-visor lights with LED bulbs, I busted the tab on one of the covers (they are tight to get off). I looked online and it appears I can only purchase an entire visor replacement (approx $55-$60) from the various online Acura OEM parts suppliers.

Wondering if anyone knows of a source to just get the plastic light cover as I'd rather not have to spend almost $60 on something that probably only costs like $5 or less.

Thanks

^junk yard.

FYI; most Honda's share a parts-bin. which mean Honda isnt going to spend money to design DIFFERENT light covers for different cars. I'm willing to bet a light cover from an older car will fit yours

^ Thanks crabmaster! Sounds like I need to do some research on some other Honda vehicles so I have a list to start hunting around junkyards.

After some searching, too much of a hassle. Hard to determine if the older vehicles have the exact same fitting/size. Most of the pictures are crappy, and most of the junkyards here don't have anything newer than 2004 Honda's/Acura vehicles, which don't seem to have the right fitting.

I did find a 2013 ILX visor on Ebay for $30+ bucks. May just have to go that route.Or I can just use some adhesive to reattach it, since it shouldn't have to ever be removed again with an LED buld in there now

Same thing happened to me! After a bunch of research they dont sell the covers separately, you have to buy the whole visor. I ended up glueing the tab back in place and havent touched it since.

If it's a 2016, you are still under warranty. Just have them replace it for free.
